What’s Acro or Partner Yoga all about? Basically, you practice basic yoga poses, but use a yoga buddy to increase flexibility, improve balance and trust. Each person assists the other gently into the pose. This also teaches yoga students to cooperate and be sensitive to the needs of the other. But most of all, Acro or Partner Yoga is super fun! You might be hesitant at first to grasp the other person’s sweaty hands, but you will want to hug everyone after class!

At Quinta da Yoga we sometimes infuse easy Acro and Partner Yoga into Hatha or Vinyasa Yoga classes.
